ThreatChase

Open Platform for Protection Against Phishing

ThreatChase – Open Platform for Protection Against Phishing is an EU-funded project under the Digital Europe Programme aimed at strengthening cybersecurity capabilities across Europe by improving the detection, prevention and mitigation of phishing attacks. The project focuses on developing an open cybersecurity platform that collects, analyses and shares intelligence on malicious URLs, suspicious domains and compromised credentials. By combining automated threat detection, machine learning techniques and structured threat intelligence sharing through the Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP), ThreatChase enables organisations to identify potential threats earlier and implement more effective protective measures.

The platform focuses on two complementary services: Prevent, which provides intelligence on malicious URLs and domains to help organisations proactively block phishing threats, and Notify, which alerts organisations and individuals when their credentials are identified in data leaks, allowing them to take corrective action. Particularly targeting SMEs and public organisations, ThreatChase also promotes the adoption of accessible cybersecurity solutions through real-world testing, training and awareness activities. Ultimately, the project contributes to improving cybersecurity preparedness, facilitating threat intelligence sharing and strengthening the resilience of Europe’s digital ecosystem against evolving cyber threats.
