The IPICS + CSP 2025 Summer School will be held at the elegant Garni Hotel Planeta Inn, located in the heart of Novi Sad, Serbia’s vibrant cultural capital. How to Get There
By Air
The nearest airport is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), located approximately 80 km from Novi Sad. The drive to the hotel takes around 1 hour via the A1/E75 highway. Taxis and ride-sharing services are available at the airport, or participants may book private transfers in advance.
By Shuttle or Bus
Direct buses from Belgrade Airport and Belgrade Bus Station to Novi Sad run frequently, operated by companies such as Lasta, FlixBus, and Nis Ekspres. The trip takes about 90 minutes and costs around 6–10 EUR. From the Novi Sad bus terminal, the hotel is a 5–10 minute taxi ride or a short walk depending on arrival location.
By Train
Belgrade Airport does not have a direct train connection. To travel by train, please follow these steps:
1. From Belgrade Airport take a free public bus (line 600) to Beograd Centar (Prokop), the main train station in Belgrade.
2. Board a train from Beograd Centar (Prokop) to Petrovaradin, a town just across the Danube River from Novi Sad. Trains run regularly on this route.
3. Upon arrival in Petrovaradin, take the free public bus or taxi to the Novi Sad city center. From the city center, the hotel is within a 10-minute walk.
